Dudley Castle, Dudley, West Midlands, May 2003
When I was a member of UK Ghost Investigators (I am now an ex member) A group of us investigated Dudley Castle overnight. It was fun. Amongst other things, I had my coat pulled in the darkness by an unseen force, I saw bright lights flashing in different places and I felt an evil presence, so someone took a photo as I was walking away from it, there was an orb 'following' behind me.
There were seances going on, but when I do investigations, I do not do seances, as I believe if the spirits are there, they will show themselves in their own good time, there's no need to force them.
All in all, I think it was a good night, and one day, I hope to return with my own investigation.
Clophill Church, Bedfordshire, 2004
Before we went here we went to another famous haunted places called Minsden Chapel, just south of Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Here we just took a few photos, and looked at the grave of Reginald Hynde, who loved the place that much that he said that he would haunt anyone, after his death, who abused or showed disrespect to the chapel. So, as you can imagine, we treated the chapel with the due respect.
Afterwards we arrived at Clophill church, (a photo is on the photo's page) we noticed there was a strange atmosphere, and as a result I was compelled to take loads of photo's (nothing was shown). I noticed that when I walked inside the church ruins, under the tower, the was a sudden gush of wind. I did put this down to air movement through the holes in the walls, that used to be windows. But then I thought, there was not even the slightest breeze outside, as it was a really warm day.
As I said there was nothing on the photo's when we got back, but one of the people with me, suddenly got a scratch on his face. Not Good. And ultimately, I did find out that a demon lives in the tower. This wind was probably him warning me not to come in any closer, maybe.
We then took a few more photo's and went home.
In my opinion, Clophill church, is worth an investigation, but any investigation team would have to be careful, as they get a lot of youths there 'ghosthunting'.
The Queen's Head Public House, Llanfaelog, Anglesey, North Wales
The Investigation started at 11.30pm when the drinkers had gone and finished at 4am.
In this time we did 2 trigger objects, one in a bar, and 1 upstairs in the main living quarters.
We did orb calling, in English, but nothing happened til Welsh was tried. We started seeing orbs on the digital camera which was connected to a TV monitor.
At one point, a breeze was noticed, but the windows were secure. It was going and expanding around the room we were in. Then it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.
We then progressed onto different rooms taking photographs and orb calling, but nothing happened.
We then progressed upstairs, where we did more orb calling in Welsh.
Then suddenly, the Landlord, started calling out for if his dad was there, and people started feeling sick, in fact, one was physically sick, so we had a rest.
We then moved into the main living quarters of the pub, which most of us felt uncomfortable. This was the only time we were in there all night.
At the end of the Investigation, we checked the trigger objects, only to find that the one in the bar had not moved. But the trigger object in the living quarters had moved about half an inch. This was verified by the Landlord and Landlady's daughter.
Also, on taking a group photograph at the end of the investigation, I found on examination of the photograph, that a spirit light was showing by one of the participants. I thought she had been wearing earrings, but was found later that she wasn't.
The photograph of this is in the pub now.
Since then, the landlord and Landlady have accepted the haunting and things have gotten better for them.
Also, I would like to add that the video of the orb calling came out fine, but showed nothing of the orbs but we all saw them on the monitor.
Keep watching for updates
